I have had many setbacks in my career. In today’s volatile and ever-changing job market, I work to reduce fear and anxiety and provide individuals and organizations with a roadmap, incorporating a high-impact execution approach. I have served as a hiring manager and recruiter, giving me valued insights to elevate our client's experiences and results.
I craft personalized coaching and business growth programs tailored to the unique challenges and goals of each individual and organization I work with. My methods are rooted in evidence-based practices and rich experience, enabling me to guide clients through their journey of self-discovery, skill enhancement, and leadership development.
In 2019, I launched Bee Defined Consulting to bring unique value to individuals, businesses, and organizations. As the CEO and Founder at Bee Defined Consulting, I lead our coaching and consulting Services, coordinating efforts between Bee Defined and all our valued affiliates. Additionally, I serve as the Co-Founder of Bee One Growth & Development and Bee One Empowerment, focusing on empowering individuals to bee one with their professional and personal lives.
My mission now extends beyond the boardroom and into the heart of the community. I aim to empower professionals and entrepreneurs, develop future leaders, and build robust workforce capabilities. I am deeply committed to supporting college graduates as they transition into the workforce, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to navigate today's job market.
I hold an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University. I am Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, Business Management Certified, and a Certified Career Coach. I bring over 20 years of experience in the United States Navy having served as a mechanic and diver on special operations submarines. This background showcases my technical expertise and leadership skills, managing complex operations and maintenance tasks under challenging conditions. My Navy career culminated in my role as Executive Director of Navy Recruiting, where I oversaw recruiting operations across multiple states and managed a large team of military and civilian personnel.

I am currently pursuing a SHRM certification from the Society for Human Resource Management with an expected completion December 2024. My academic journey has provided a solid foundation for my career in coaching and recruitment, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively.

I have a deep love for fashion and serve as an Image Consultant and Stylist, as well as a creative director for various brands. Additionally, I mentor young ladies, leading a program that strives to instill confidence and self-esteem, thereby enhancing their self-development.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I have always been driven by an enthusiasm for personal development and community empowerment. Having navigated and overcome many challenges on my journey to finding my purpose, I live by the motto, "Keep it moving!"

I earned my associate degree from Collin College and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of North Texas. I hold certifications as a Professional Life Coach and a Master Life Coach. With over 20 years of experience across the real estate, auto, retail, and professional coaching industries, my focus has been on operations, people development, client experience, and community development.

My professional journey has equipped me with extensive experience in building high-performing teams through effective training and learning and development initiatives, including work-life and performance coaching. I have earned a reputation for positively impacting individual and team performance.

This endeavor allowed me to channel my love for empowering people into a dedicated coaching model. In partnership with Bee Defined Consulting, I helped build a holistic coaching approach that bridges the gap between professional aspirations and personal life factors, ensuring our clients receive comprehensive support. My coaching style emphasizes a personalized, empathetic, and strategic approach, aiming to empower individuals to achieve their full potential both professionally and personally.

In addition to serving as a Personal Performance & Life Coach here at Bee Defined Consulting, I also spearhead our marketing, media, and client service delivery initiatives. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, indulging in karaoke, and exploring new restaurants and food dives. I cherish moments with my fiancée and children and am also an artist who loves writing poetry. My work was published in the early 2000s and even featured in a Coca-Cola Olympics commercial in the '90s! I am a lover of life and all the possibilities it has to offer.

I am an award-winning, results-driven Career Strategist who harnesses 20 years of experience in career coaching, resume and LinkedIn writing, and career services program design to drive impactful client transformations. By leveraging subject matter expertise to better align clients with their professional goals, I propel individuals to achieve measurable growth and achieve sustainable career success. My experience spans both start-up organizations and Fortune 500 companies, so I have deep knowledge of different organizational dynamics and how they can influence hiring decisions.
I began my career as a Technical Recruiter which gave me great insight into how candidate branding and marketing impacts a client’s job search success. From there, I moved into a manager role, overseeing a team of recruiters and account managers, which allowed me to see how the hiring process operated from the opposite side of the business relationship. Throughout these experiences, I gained valuable experience in personal branding, interviewing, and career coaching and discovered how to leverage this knowledge to drive client successes. This led me to expand my coaching and writing contributions to cater to underserved populations in need of career guidance. Most recently, I launched a career services program for a startup company in the ed tech industry and helped grow the organization to serve over 1500 job seekers.
I have a MBA in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia. Additionally, I am an internationally Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and expect to obtain certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in Fall 2024.
Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about making lasting memories with my family and friends, sampling international cuisine in the Nashville, TN area, and traveling around the world to explore exciting new cultures. I also serve as a mentor to developing career coaches and volunteer at a local cat rescue society in my free time.
